FIELD: fusion welding with use of reagents in different ranges of machine engineering upon welding light alloys. SUBSTANCE: method of fusion welding by applying on edges being welded a flux in the form of suspension on a base of fluorides comprises steps of preliminarily (before flux) applying on edges being welded metallic powder with particle size 5-50 micrometers by layer having thickness 30-100 micrometers, had been diluted in an organic solvent to a paste condition; upon welding by concentrated energy source in vacuum and upon arc welding by alternative current applying in addition on surface of flux metallic powder at side of action of the welding energy source; using the metallic powder with next ratio of ingredients (mass %): lanthanum 13.0-35.0; cerium 0.5-18.0; nickel - the balance. EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded joints of light alloys. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
