FIELD: analytic instruments. SUBSTANCE: device has bulb with sealed window which transmission range is above 103 nanometers. Bulb is filled with at least one gas which emits multiple-line spectrum in band of vacuum ultraviolet light. Filter which transmission characteristics differ from those of window is located on inner side of window and partly covers its area. At least one additional filter is located on window surface which is free from main filter. Its transmission characteristics differ from those of window and main filter. Bulb has at least one additional discharge channel, which is located opposite to window surface which is free from filter or opposite to at least one additional filter. Additional discharge channels are provided by additional cathodes with corresponding number of additional anodes or with single anode that is common for all channels. Calcium fluoride, barium fluoride, sapphire or quartz are used as material for filter. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 7 cl, 6 dwg
