FIELD: accelerators. SUBSTANCE: device has electrode sections of inner structure with distributed potential and outer electrodes, which shields sections of inner structure against transversal magnetic field. Their cross-section is shaped as ellipse or as composite figure of at least two curve figures. One vertex of cross section of outer electrode with greater curvature is directed to end of column with greater potential and outside. While opposite vertex is directed inside structure of insulating column. At least two sections of inner structure, which have different potentials, are located opposite to common shielding outer electrode. EFFECT: increased electric strength, increased reliability, lesser deviation of outer electrodes with respect to required size, decreased number of electrodes with complex shape, decreased weight and cost for manufacturing of electrodes. 5 dwg
