FIELD: production of inorganic reagents. SUBSTANCE: process comprises fluorinating selenium with fluorine at not lower than 200 C. Use of the claimed process makes it possible to improved purity and increase the yield of selenium hexafluoride and simplify production of selenium hexafluoride due to absence of purification stages which involve use of foreign reagents.
