FIELD: integral optics. SUBSTANCE: device for introducing radiation into optical waveguide is made by ion exchange method. Substrate is submerged into melted working reagent till getting boundary of area intended for device for introduction in such a manner that introduction device is out of the melt. Simultaneously optical waveguide is producing onto part of substrate submerged into the melt, as well as the device for introducing radiation. The latter is made by ion exchange method from reagent film deposited from vapors of reagent onto non-submerged part of the substrate. EFFECT: improved quality. 1 dwg
