FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making irregular cut of skin and subcutaneous fat in inguinal region and above the pubic region, exfoliating lipocutaneous flap of the anterior abdominal wall up to the costal arches, selecting umbilicus on feeding pedicel and dissecting additionally excessive lipocutaneous tissue outside of the iliac crests wedge-like and without exfoliating. Then converging sutures are stitched over the aponeurosis, shifting the lipocutaneous flap downward, its marginal portion is dissected and the lipocutaneous flap is thinned in thickness all over the way to Thompson fascia. Needles with threads are introduced through the pierced holes into the supraponeurotic space, the needles being fixed on the skin. Then fascia with flap and aponeurosis fat are caught in turn into a blanket suture. The operation is finished by suturing the wound layer by layer and draining the supraponeurotic space. EFFECT: improved cosmetic results.
