Subcutaneous fat is detached and removed to the Thompson fascia and the flap is fixed through the Thompson fascia to the aponeurosis of the rectus abdominis muscles with interrupted Vicryl 2/0 sutures throughout mobilization area every 4 cm in a checkerboard pattern.

EFFECT: method provides the most aesthetic and functional result when performing abdominoplasty, strengthening the anterior abdominal wall, eliminating the risk of hematomas and seroma formation in the area of detachment of the skin-subcutaneous flap.
