FIELD: sorption processes used for gasses purification from harmful impurities, in particular for gas mixtures purification from carbon oxide in systems of collective and individual protection of breathing organs under environment temperature below 0 C. SUBSTANCE: method to produce low-temperature catalyst for carbon oxide oxidation provides for mixing of dioxide of manganese and copper oxide with binder, formation of granules, drying, comminution and thermal treatment, that is exercised in boiling layer in two stages: first using common air, then using air dried to 10 -100 ppm. EFFECT: method allows to produce catalyst with much higher carbon oxide oxidation capabilities, than known catalysts. 1 tbl
