FIELD: inorganic chemistry, particularly, production of catalysts being used for purification of gaseous mixture against carbon oxide and for purification of exhaust gases of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: manganese-containing raw materials are treated by inorganic acid, the process is carried out at 60-75 C. Then filtration and washing of final product with hot water having temperature 60-75 C take places. EFFECT: improved catalytic activity of desired product in respect with oxidation of carbon oxide. 1 tbl
