FIELD: forestry. SUBSTANCE: lengthy timber 3 is shaped out of short timber with removed internal decay in the form of pithy layer 1 and connecting fellings 2. Out of short parts of timber of different length and connecting fellings lengthy timber is shaped by means of shifting face ends of contact of wood parts along the length of shaped timber. After drying, contact surfaces are coated with glue and lengthy timber is shaped. After glue hardening the longitudinal sawing is exercised according to corresponding program of cutting.
