SUBSTANCE: method includes determination of form and parameters of core layer, division of round timber into sectors in longitudinal direction, basing of sectors along one of treatment surfaces and their division into parts in parallel to generating line of timber along tangent line with respect to rings of tree, turn of prepared parts through 180 deg one relative another in vertical and horizontal planes, fastening parts together. It is possible that after drying parts can be cemented together along edges and divided into timber products after curing. EFFECT: possibility of rational cutting out round timber affected by core rot. 4 cl, 8 dwg
