FIELD: wood processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making sawn products. The method involves putting timber outside the healthy peripheral zone, determination of the cutting program, lateral cutting into sectors, removal of bark and rotten stuff, sorting and drying the obtained parts, turning them and tying them to each other. Removal of bark and rotten stuff is done in parallel with the edge of the timber, forming parts with alternating cross section in form of an isosceles trapezium, which are turned about each other by 180° in the horizontal plane and tied together, obtaining sawn products.
EFFECT: invention increases output of quality sawn products.
