Abstract RU 2065191 C1

FIELD: fiber-optical communication lines. SUBSTANCE: device has fiber-optical light guide with protecting polymer shield. Light guide is located in metal protecting tube and is spaced from it by fixed gap. Protecting tube is made from ribbon and has sew oriented in longitudinal direction. Edges of tube have smooth chamfers. Thickness of ribbon is same order of magnitude as radius of fiber-optical light guide. Piece where edges of ribbon touch one another is lesser than its thickness. Fixed gap between fiber-optical light guide and protecting tube is filled with water- repelling material. Additional metal cover is produced over protecting tube, it spreads over line where ribbon edges touch one another. Thickness of cover is less than thickness of main metal cover. Polymer cover, which thickness is 01-0.3 mm is applied over additional metal cover. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 3 cl, 2 dwg, 2 tbl
