FIELD: nuclear engineering and nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has control members mounted in core, each being built up of two coaxial pipes with end caps on bottom ends and inserted in each other so that cylindrical and end clearances are formed; end clearance is filled with neutron absorbing liquid. Each control member has bellows on end cap of external coaxial pipe, on inner side, with its bottom cylindrical part holding washer made of low-heat transfer material, such as ceramics, and filled with substance, such as liquid having desired boiling temperature; fuel ring is fitted onto bottom cylindrical part of bellows. EFFECT: improved precision in operation, provision for off-line maintenance of reactor operating conditions. 1 dwg
