FIELD: heat preparation of rolling rolls. SUBSTANCE: installation is in the form of chamber having door and provided with car for transporting products to be treated and also with mutually connected upper and placed symmetrically relative to lengthwise axis of chamber lateral headers supporting jets. Installation is provided in addition with arranged in upper part of chamber movable car to which upper and lower lateral headers are secured and with group of headers having jets and mounted along lengthwise axis of chamber on platform of car for transporting products. Terminal lateral and upper headers are joined together with lower ones in the same group; central lateral and upper headers are joined to other group. Each group of headers is provided with separate supply lines for feeding working liquid. Spacings between central lateral headers smoothly decrease to center. Axis of jets of terminal lateral and upper headers form angle 75-80 degrees relative to lengthwise axis of chamber. EFFECT: accelerated cooling of rolls had been demounted off rolling stands and rapid heating of barrels of rolling rolls before their mounting in stands.
