SUBSTANCE: method involves cooling and heating rolls with increasing roll surface spraying density from 6m/m2h to 10m /m2h, with water temperature being reduced from 70-80 C to 20-30 C in the process of cooling and increased from 20-30 C to 70-80 C in the process of heating. Spraying density and water temperature are gradually varied during the whole cycle of preparing rolls for operation. EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation. 5 tbl
