FIELD: life- saving finishing-strengthening treatment of holes in "non-round rods" parts, and namely, methods of combination straining-cutting-burnishing broaching of pin holes in steering knuckles of transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: combination broaching of pin holes of steering knuckle 30 is accomplished by preliminary, simultaneous installation and force closure of strain sleeve limiters 5,6 made in the form of adjustable screw supports of the upper and lower eyes of knuckle 30. The floating tool holder of the machine system has locks of angular variations. Broaching working members 24, 25, 26 are interference-fitted on the mandrel and have ducts 20, 22 used to feed coolant to the treatment area. First broaching straining member 24 has an even number of ducts, and all subsequent members have a duct coaxial with any duct on the first member.
