FIELD: robotics. SUBSTANCE: mechanical arm uses movable links, whose drives are made in the form of pendulums. Fixing rods and unfixing rods are installed in the extreme positions of the movable links. The fixing rods represent permanent magnets 1 and 6 engageable with plates 2 on the movable links made of magnetic materials or permanent magnets. The unfixing rods are made in the form of pushers or electromagnets 7 and 8 engageable with plates 3 made of magnetic material and positioned on the movable links.
