FIELD: robotics, possibly systems for moving blanks or parts between manufacturing equipment units.
SUBSTANCE: drive unit includes housing supporting stops; rotary link of mechanical hand in the form of pendulum provided with positioning device. Stops for limiting intermediate positions of link of hand are mounted in addition on housing. Positioning device is in the form of fixing unit spring-loaded and mounted with possibility of extending to side of stop in zone of positioning link and with possibility of fixation by means of latch in drawn-in position. Latch is made with possibility of kinematic engagement (in zone for positioning link) with cam-inertial mass spring-loaded to side of rotation center of link of hand with possibility of moving relative to it by action of centrifugal forces.
EFFECT: increased number of working positions, enhanced safety of operations without limitation of speed characteristics of drive unit.
