FIELD: inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: oxalate ion is fed into acid aqueous solution which contains scandium, ions of chlorine and ammonia and having pH not more 4. Thus prepared precipitate of scandium oxalate is allowed to stand within 0.5-1.0 h in mother solution. Said precipitate is separated of solution and then it is heated to 650-900 C.
