FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for measurement of flow rate of diamagnetic liquids, predominantly liquid helium. Method consists in creation of construction of flow in pipe-line by formation of circular gas cavern bordering on internal wall of pipe-line with the aid of inhomogeneous magnetic field of solenoid embracing pipe-line. Relation of its height to its inner diameter lies within limits 0.1-0.5. Pressure differential is measured in local construction of flow. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements. 1 dwg
