FIELD: leather processing industry. SUBSTANCE: unit has base-mounted pressing rolls and suspension setup with two base-fastened shackles, also load-bearing roll with sprocket secured on its end which interconnects both shackles. One more sprocket is fixed on corresponding pressing roll. All sprockets are interconnected by triangle-shaped endless chain. Suspension unit includes frame with guide strips fastened with one end to opposite sides of frame. Other end of each strip has hole for pin. Each pressing roll is mounted on vertical bifurcated bracket, and hole is made in center of coupling section of bifurcated bracket, and axis of this hole is perpendicular to axis of load- bearing roll. Pin is seated simultaneously in guide strip holes for oscillation of bifurcated brackets. Suspension unit is provided with shock absorbers mounted on frame for possible contact with connecting section of corresponding bracket, and mechanism for adjusting shock absorber in height.
