FIELD: leather processing industry. SUBSTANCE: unit has base-mounted pressing rolls connected with suspension setup and two pairs of transporting rolls. Lower transporting rolls are rigidly fastened on base. Upper transporting rolls are pivotally mounted on base. Suspension setup is provided with load-bearing shaft which carries two shackles. Mechanism for turning suspension setup to upper and lower positions has rod with recess to lock in required position, hollow body with hole and rod locking arrangement including double-arm lever with its one arm spring-loaded and other arm carrying rod locking arrangement which passes through body hole and seats in rod recess, and electromagnet connected with electric sensors at machine inlet and outlet.
