FIELD: rolling production, apparatuses for axial adjustment of rolls of rolling stand. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for axial adjustment of rolls of rolling stand has slider and griping levers engaged with protrusions of working roll cushion and mounted in horizontal grooves of bed frames. Slider using spring is through spherical thrust bearing pressed to screw of axial motion drive, that is mounted in bed-frame in parallel to axis of roll. Gripping levers have teeth to be engaged with cushion protrusions from inside and are mounted with capability to turn ( by hand or by autonomous drive) in horizontal plane for rolls change provision and are provided with autonomous drive of axial motion made in the form of single cavity hydraulic cylinders. Upper gripping levers and slider are pressed to upper guiding grooves of bed-frame using springs through beam and links. Guaranteed clearance Δ in connection of sliders and gripping levers with guides of grooves are exceeding calculated value of roll neck maximum flex.
