SUBSTANCE: plane has body with handles and replaceable cutter supporting surfaces, cutter attachment unit providing pressing of cutters to supporting surface, and replaceable bottoms of different profiles fixed in body slot. Plane body has single side wall. Cutter attachment unit is formed as double-armed lever with axis defined by U-shaped bracket mounted in openings disposed below cutter supporting surface and in right-hand side wall of plane. Shape of bracket prevents chip discharge cavity from being obstructed by chips. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 dwg
