FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely designs of apparatus for blowing metal in steel melting aggregates. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes mounted in lining of hearth of metallurgical aggregate tuyere assembly having gas manifold and placed on tuyere unit with ducts having oriented porosity. In order to increase strength of tuyere unit and zone around it and to lower consumption of blowing gas head of tuyere unit is mounted lower than upper level of packed layer of hearth. Gas permeable packed layer of magnesite powder is laid onto output end of head of tuyere unit. Ducts of oriented porosity of tuyere unit are made of capillary stainless metallic pipes uniformly molded in cross section of tuyere unit. EFFECT: enhanced strength of tuyere unit, lowered consumption of blowing gas. 2 cl, 1 dwg
