FIELD: refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ramming mixtures for manufacturing linings, in particular, for induction furnaces. Mixture represents a molten material composed of 85-89% alumino-magnesium spinel and 1-15% periclase with following grain-size distribution: 40-54% 3-2-mm fraction and 46-60% 1-0-mm fraction including 29-32% fraction below 0.083 mm. Chemical and grain makeup of the mixture increase resistance of lining to high-temperature melts and alloys with no caking additives owing to optimal conditions under which lining is sintered to form dense and strong structure. EFFECT: improved quality of refractory lining. 2 tbl
