FIELD: treatment of porous materials; applicable in industry for chemical and electrochemical treatment of materials in manufacture of ceramic porous bodies with preset structure and also in experimental investigation of porous body structures. SUBSTANCE: method for pickling of products from porous materials includes local chemical or electrochemical treatment in reaction with pickling solution of a part of product surface. In so doing, supplied to product through one of its surfaces is air or nitrogen, and treatment is conducted with maintenance of the pressure differential between gas and pickling solution in material pores. After this, washing with water is accomplished. Pressure differential in the treatment process, first, is increased several times, then, returned to the initial value.
