METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INFLAMMABLE GASSES FLAME EXTINGUISHING Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2064802 C1

FIELD: safety provision of different production processes exercised in presence of inflammable gasses. SUBSTANCE: cooling of inflammable gasses in zone of burning is exercised due to evaporation of nonflammable liquid, that fills up volume of smaller pores of apparatus porous member. Apparatus for flame extinguishing with nonflammable liquid being in constant contact with porous member. Porous member has two groups of pres: small pores for filling up with nonflammable liquid and large pores for passage of inflammable gasses. EFFECT: method is effective in extinguishing of inflammable gasses flames. 3 cl, 3 dwg
