FIELD: detection of signals of highway traffic control radars. SUBSTANCE: the device comprises a receiving horn antenna connected to a square-section waveguide with a short-circuited metal wall where modulator and detector SHF-diodes are installed perpendicularly to the waveguide wider walls at a distance of a quarter of the average wavelength of the effective SHF-range from the short-circuited metal wall of the waveguide. The cathode leads of the modulator and detector SHF-diodes are connected to one of the wider walls of the waveguide, and the anode leads are passed through the holes in the opposite wider wall and insulated from it. The modulator and detector SHF-diodes are installed in the same plane of the waveguide cross-section at the same distance from its longitudinal axis, and their similar leads are positioned on the opposite wider walls of the waveguide. The device also has a modulating voltage generator and an amplifier-limiter of signals whose input is connected to the anode lead of the detector SHF-diode. The phase discriminator signal input is connected to the output of the signal amplifier-limiter, and the reference voltage input is connected to the modulating voltage generator and to the anode lead of the modulating SHF-diode. The threshold element input is connected to the phase discriminator output. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
