FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: contact lens is manufactured of any ordinary material even such a gasproof material as polymethyl methacrylate; the lens is microperforated by 66000 holes distributed in similarly spaced sectors; only the central (optically main) part and external ferrule of the lens are left impregnated. At a smaller size of the holes their number may reach one million. According to one of the modifications, only some or all holes cover part of the path in the mass of the contact lens.
