FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: ion counter has aspiration chamber connected to its power supply and switch that connects collecting electrode of chamber to measuring amplifier whose output is connected to amplitude- to-time converter which is connected to first inputs of first and second AND gates. Output of first AND gate is connected to first input of pulse counter and that of second AND gate, to first input of flip-flop whose output is connected to second and third inputs of AND gates, respectively; second input of AND gate is connected to oscillator output. Second input of amplifier is coupled with output of analog switch one of whose inputs is connected to common bus and its second input, to reference-voltage source. Control input of analog switch is coupled to test signal shaper. Synchronous operation of all components is provided by control unit whose first output is connected to switch, second output, to second input of flip-flop and to second input of pulse counter, its third output is connected to first input of test signal shaper. Test signal shaper condition is checked by mode-of-operation bus signal. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
