FIELD: dispersion of air in pneumatic aeration of treated liquid and biological treatment of sewage and natural waters and flotation. SUBSTANCE: aeration device has tubular air conduit whose external surface is made in form of alternating longitudinal ribs and depressions provided with radial holes. External surface of tubular air conduit has two-layer dispersing coating. Internal layer of the coating is made of fibrous material in form of fibrillated filament tightly wound with no gaps on the indicated surface with surface density of 1.1-2.0 kg/sq.m. External layer is porous shell from the material with chaotically arranged fibers with diameter of 6,0•10-5-21•10-5 m welded in points of their intersection. In so doing, the external layer is applied to internal layer with density of 3,5•102-6,0•102 kg/cu.m. Depressions between neighboring ribs and internal layer of dispersing coating form channels. Distance between neighboring ribs amounts to 0.15-0.4 of the inner diameter of tubular air duct. Diameter of each air radial hole amounts to 1.3-2.8 of the inner diameter of tubular air duct. Depressions between neighboring ribs and internal layer of dispersing coating for channels whose area of cross-section equals 0.2-0.9 of the radial hole cross-section area.
