FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines with two prechambers. SUBSTANCE: engine has cylinder with piston, cylinder head, working mixture intake and exhaust gas discharge members and two prechambers in head for alternate communication with cylinder through corresponding controlled valve with drive which provides closing of valves at beginning of each working stroke of piston. Mixture is ingnited at beginning of each working stroke by torch of combustion products with temperature of 1500-1800 C bypassed from other prechamber into cylinder with possibility of passing through open controlled valve from cylinder into prechamber. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 2 cl, 3 dwg
