FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, sterilization and pasteurization of unpackaged liquid or pasteous products. SUBSTANCE: method involves directing product to heater; irradiating in device where alternating electromagnetic field is induced; collecting treated product in vessel and packaging in containers or bags. Product is preliminarily heated to temperature ranging from 40 to 50 C. Electromagnetic field is created by means of radiowave source emitting radiowaves within frequency range below 1 GHz. Irradiation is conducted for 10 sec to 1 min till temperature of product reaches 50 C. Product is held for 10 sec to 1 min depending on concentration of bacterial flora in product. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved quality of product. 11 cl, 6 dwg
