FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for use in the food industry when treating liquid, paste-like, semisolid or granular products through exposure to alternating magnetic fields. The assembly has at least one pipe (2) made from electrically insulating material for carrying products (P) to undergo treatment, at least one row (4', 4") of electrodes (7', 7" 7"', 8', 8", 8"') around at least one pipe (2), and high-frequency alternating voltage generators (5). Each of the electrodes (7', 7", 7"' 8', 8", 8"') has an essentially circular shape. The distance from the outer cylindrical surface (3) of the pipe (2) to the inner surface of the electrodes is enough to prevent electrical current from penetrating the product. The inner surface of the electrodes has at least one essentially conical face with given taper angle to enable use of relatively high voltages without the risk of leakage into the surrounding medium.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a product with good organoleptic properties.
