FIELD: leather drying devices. SUBSTANCE: device includes a main vacuum treatment source which is connected with many sets of evaporating shelves for attaining the preset degree of rarefaction on shelf sets under stable operating conditions of system. There is an additional source of vacuum treatment designed for creation, at preset moment of time , on one set of shelves, the rarefaction close to the value produced under stable operating conditions. There are also valve means for selective connection of each set of shelves found initially under pressure of ambient medium, first with additional source of vacuum treatment, and then with the main source of vacuum treatment to eliminate considerable fluctuations of pressure in other sets of shelves when each set of shelves is connected to the main source of vacuum treatment. Valve means comprise at least on each set of shelves one first electric valve on line for connection with exterior medium; at least on each set of shelves one second electric valve on line for connection with additional source of vacuum treatment; and at least on each set of shelves one third electric valve on line for connection with the main source of vacuum treatment. Provided also are control means for successive control of cyclic successive closing of the first, second and third electric valves. The device also allows creation under stable operating conditions on sets of shelves the rarefaction whose value is, in fact, constant irrespective of opening and closing of each set of shelves.
