FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves strengthening sclera with H- shaped allograft obtained from umbilical cord vein. Its lower end is formed as spiral coils bound with each other by means of biosutures. Then the graft is set as cross-piece under the musculus rectus lateralis bulbi with its lower ends into the posterior part of eye, the upper ends being set into the anterior part of eye where they are attached to sclera with sutures at the level of musculus rectus lateralis bulbi attachment place. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in strengthening sclera.
