FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves separating Tenon's capsule from sclera, muscles and vorticose veins to the posterior eye pole. The external direct muscles are taken for producing bridle sutures. Transplants are arranged between the muscles and under them in four quadrants and attached to the direct muscle tendons at the places of their attachment to the eyeball. The distal ends of the transplants are fixed with pursestring sutures behind the equator. EFFECT: full-scale coverage of the eyeball with transplants; strengthened eyeball; stabilized myopia.
