FIELD: sports and prophylactic equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has foot support fixed on cantilevered beam. Beam is supported by readily detachable curved guide through roller fixed on beam. Guide is mounted in base. Beam end opposed to platform is pivotally mounted in casing eyelet adjacent to base apex on horizontal shaft. Casing may be turned to the left and to the right relative to hollow shaft, which is fixed in base and inclined toward foot support. Load simulating device mounted within hollow shaft is formed as coiled spring working in twisting mode and engageable with casing and hollow shaft through fingers and slots. Spring may be pretensioned. When mountain-ski movements such as turning to the right and to the left are imitated, foot support is turned with its surface toward the interior of turning path to create counterbias. Arm support is mounted at base apex. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 5 dwg
