FIELD: control and safety of furnaces without smoke stacks, kerosene stoves, in particular. SUBSTANCE: method consists in sensitive registration of oxygen in exhaust gas of burner of kerosene stove which comes to check of content of carbon dioxide present in room and conversion of voltage signal which is used as control signal. In case of operation of burner beyond limits of definite range of flame height determined beforehand, content of oxygen is used both bor restoration of normal state of heating and for check of mode of operation at minimum height of flame and shaping of warning signal and delayed automatic start of burner at first fraction determined beforehand, second lesser fraction of oxygen in burner exhaust gas which corresponds to fractions of carbon dioxide contained in air of room which was determined beforehand. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 16 cl, 6 dwg, 1 tbl
