FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring light intensity for light passing through blood platelets suspension and propagating within some small angle interval. The device has in one version a unit being a diaphragm with variable opening size and movable screen for selecting light beam propagating after having passed through blood platelets suspension with some deviation from the initial direction within the angle range of 7 deg. Another version of the device has long focus lens and diaphragm with narrow opening placed in front of photodetector for selecting light passed through blood platelets suspension sample without any deviation from the initial direction of propagation.
