SUBSTANCE: root conveyor-cleaner has cylindrical shell 1 with discharge window 3 and longitudinal slot for receiving rotating cleaning members 6, and auger 4 positioned within shell 1. Ends of cleaning members 6 overlap auger helical coil edge. Vertical plane extending through center of auger 4 and plane of symmetry of cleaning members 6 are positioned at acute angle one with respect to the other oriented toward direction of rotation of auger 4. Plane of symmetry of cleaning members 6 is extending through slot center. Ratio of rotational speed of cleaning members 6 and auger 4 is: n₁≥10n₂,, where n₁ is cleaning member rotational speed, n₂ is auger rotational speed.
