FIELD: roll surface working. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing rolls to electrolytic heating and simultaneously to pulsed discharge, with dipping of rolls into electrolytic solution being effectuated at speed of 10-250 cm/min. Apparatus has casing, electrolytic bath, supports, rolls rotation drive, cathodic and anodic systems with current supplies and lifting frame with lifting mechanism fixed at one of its side. Opposite side of frame is pivotally fixed within casing. Electrolytic bath is mounted on lifting frame.
