FIELD: rolling roll manufacture. SUBSTANCE: additional grid anode is placed in working bath in such a way that it is spaced from upper level of electrolyte at knurling by distance equal to 1/3-1/5 of total depth. Said anode has area of each cell equal to 2-4 square cm. Upon knurling electrolyte is fed to working bath at normalized rate with use of heat exchanger arranged in circulation system and galvanically isolated relative to all parts of unit. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities at making roll roughness in range 1-0! 8 micrometers due to stabilization of electrolyte temperature in working bath in range 30-35 C. 4 cl, 1 dwg
