FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has diamond presser connected with caked carbide base along presser/carbide base interface. Carbide base has two zones. First zone contains binding metal used in predetermined amount. Second zone is extending from interface to the first zone and contains binding metal used in an amount below that of binding metal in the first zone. Depth or thickness of the second zone does not exceed 0.75 mm. Content of binding metal in the second zone is continuously increasing from interface to the first zone.
