FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves imparting torque M Mtrq to molding member 4; feeding hot mass into charging pipe, with hot mass being pushed by sleeve 19 along axis of cylinder of unit 18 and central pipe so that hot mass is distributed to remaining pipes; providing sequential charging of all units 10. Hot mass is captured by coils of extruder 23 and fed through gap 8 into chamber 24, from which it flows radially in parallel with wedge-shaped surface 5, with outlet of tip 2 being closed, fills cavity of deformation zone and pass in tip 2, where hot mass is compacted. Method further involves cooling hot mass and cutting into billets. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of products by regulated density of molded products. 9 dwg
