FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: during analysis of structures of metals and alloys deformation is performed to value ε = εк+Δε, where εk is critical deformation; Δε is value amounting to 0.5% technological operation - recrystallization annealing. Summary deformation degree eS in zones is determined by calibration dependance of size of recrystallized grain on degree of deformation for corresponding time- temperature parameters. Difference ((εΣ - ε)) is used to evaluate deformation caused by technological operation. For operations leading to limiting deformation preliminary recrystallization annealing is conducted. EFFECT: expanded capabilities of inspection of quality of billets thanks to exposure of zones of sub-critical deformation after various technological operations and zones of limiting deformation to which size of recrystallization grain close to initial one corresponds. 2 cl, 4 dwg
