FIELD: nondestructive inspections in nuclear power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed for measuring fuel cladding thickness and for distributing intermediate layer of fuel elements in nuclear reactor with aid of ionizing radiation has fuel element carrying truck whose bed 7 is made in the form of two Maltese crosses with stepping drive which are rigidly joined together by means of shaft, as well as ionizing radiation sources and detectors installed on toothed rack transmissions 6, 7 with stepping drives and rod 2 provided with adjusting unit 5 built of two revolving cylindrical pairs mounted perpendicular one on top of other.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of inspection results.
