FIELD: determination of ionization degree, presence of electrons photons fluxes, concentration of ions and other electrophysical parameters of environment. SUBSTANCE: to increase sensitivity of measurements in gas discharge detector electrical field is created between point of bar-type anode and coaxially located cylindrical cathode. Resonance corona charge is created in gas medium of detector with anode voltage taken from interval of 3.732 +/-0.2 kV. Electrophysical parameters of studied medium are registered by determination of anodic circuit current pulses repetition frequency dependance on voltage. Anode point is spaced from butt window of chamber at distance equal to (2/3 - 3/4), with l - length of detector discharge chamber. Anode point cross-section area is by 102÷103 times smaller, than chamber cross-section area. EFFECT: increased sensitivity of measurements in gas discharge detector. 2 cl, 2 dwg
